Poem Accepted for LIPS Poetry Magazine

I've just learned from LIPS Poetry Magazine editor Laura Boss that my poem "The Burden of the Body" has been accepted for the next issue due out Spring 2011. I'm honored to be included in this fine magazine of poetry founded in 1981 by Laura Boss that has included poems by Robert Bly, Allen Ginsberg, Ruth Stone, David Ignatow, Marge Piercy, Michael Benedikt, Nicholas Christopher, Anne Waldman, Ishmael Reed, Gregory Corso, Lyn Lifshin, Ted Berrigan, Paul Hoover, Jana Harris, Toi Derricotte, Joseph Bruchac, Alice Notley, Warren Woessner, Robert Phillips, Hal Sirowitz, Theodore Weiss, Alicia Ostriker, Maria Mazziotti Gillan, Stanley H. Barkan, Michael Weaver, Molly Peacock & Richard Kostelanetz.

Laura Boss is a poet that I've admired for years and an important influence on my own work. I first heard her read at Symposia Bookstore in Hoboken, New Jersey when she read for the Debaun Spoken Word Series, and always enjoy the humor, insight and compassion she shares in her work. She is a great observer of human nature and a gifted story-teller.

To find out more about LIPS and Ms. Boss please visit the LIPS website at http://home.earthlink.net/~poetry_magazine/Lips.html.

Find Me at Amazon Author Central

I have an new author page at Amazon Author Centralhttp://www.amazon.com/-/e/B003XQKL5M

I just found out that anyone who has authored, edited or contributed to a book that appears in the Amazon.com catalogue can create a page for free, link their blog and also post their events.  So far I've uploaded my photo and a brief bio and I am starting to link all my titles in the Amazon.com catalogue.
